Seeking 15th Great American Beer Festival Medal!
Every year the Brewer’s Association hosts two of the most anticipated events in the craft beer industry for independent breweries. One of those events is the Great American Beer Festival®, which is right around the corner, starting October 1st and going through October 18th.
Generally, GABF® takes place in Denver, Colorado, at the convention center downtown. Beer enthusiasts and amateurs alike travel from all over the United States, and beyond, to taste beer from over 700 breweries who entered to win medals in more than 100 categories.
The GABF gathers industry professionals from around the world to blindly taste beers in 100+ unique beer-style categories to identify the three beers that best represent each category as described and adopted by the GABF.
The Professional Judge Panel awards gold, silver, or bronze medals that are recognized around the world as symbols of brewing excellence. These awards are among the most coveted in the industry and heralded by the winning brewers in their national advertising.Brewers Association
Due to the Covid19 pandemic, The Great American Beer Festival® will not be taking place in Denver; instead, they are hosting a virtual experience. As fun as going to Denver is, I feel this will allow more people to get a taste of GABF® in their hometown, at a fraction of the cost! Participating breweries will be offering special deals and experiences for those who purchase the GABF® Passport. Get yours here
Here at Third Street Aleworks, as we look to win our 15th medal, we will be offering limited-edition apparel and GABF 2020 glassware on our website.
